The time has come to go a bit further from Holden Barina.

New project:  Subaru Brumby 2 wheel drive with 11 kw Regen motor and 144 volt power system from 120a/h AGM batteries

What is involved

Stripping Brumby is not difficult. All parts are easily accesible. There is a kind of simplicity, which i like. Removing the Engine with Gearbox was quite simple

At the same time have removed the drive shaft and rear Differential with cv shafts and support bridge.

The gearbox has 4 speeds and can be used in front wheel drive at all times.

I decided to have  2 wheel drive Brumby.

Brumby Motor weight With Clutch --102 kg

Diff and parts of  ---------------------------84 Kg

Fuel tank full --------------------------------75 kg

Radiator --------------------------------------10 kg

Exhaust system  ----------------------------22Kg

Removing part of Bull Bar----------------21 kg

Total  Parts removed----------------------314 kg
